The fourth international Tata Steel Chess and Studies Day<\/strong> will be held on Saturday, January 26th 2013 in hotel\u00a0 Zeeduin in Wijk aan Zee (Netherlands) as part of the 75th<\/sup> edition of Tata Steel chess tournament and in collaboration with ARVES. Chief Arbiter: Luc Palmans <\/strong><\/p>\n

Here is the time-table:<\/p>\n

10:00- 10.30: Registration<\/p>\n

10.45: Official opening
\n11.00 -14.00: International Open Solving Competition of original studies with a prize fund of 750 Euros and book prizes. Special prizes will be awarded to the best newcomers and youth solvers.<\/p>\n

14.00-17.00: Watching the penultimate round of the world\u2019s most famous chess tournaments with live expert commentary.<\/p>\n

17.30: Prize giving.<\/p>\n

Entry fee: 15 Euros; juniors (u-20) 10 Euros; GMs and IMs \u2013 free.<\/p>\n

The Dutch section of the International Solving Championship<\/strong> (for problems & studies) will be held in Wijk aan Zee on Sunday, January 27th<\/sup> (last round of Tata steel tournament) from 10.30 in hotel Zeeduin and is open to all. Organizer is Hans Uitenbroek and chief arbiter is Peter Bakker. The ISC is held in many places around the world at the same time and with the same problems.<\/p>\n
