Het vorige record stond op 44 uur en 21 minuten onafgebroken achter elkaar schaken. Maar zij slaagden er in dit te verbeteren naar 48 uur. Niels en Bob deden hun poging vanaf vrijdag 19 mei om 13.00 in Caf\u00e9 Boulevard in Tilburg. Op zondag 21 mei &#8216;s\u00a0middag om 13:00 uur konden zij vermoeid maar voldaan hun record laten bijschrijven. Niels zat er zeker nog niet doorheen gezien zijn Quote na afloop: &#8216;Ik ben nog best wel fris na 48 uur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2a2b62; font-family: Arial; font-size: small;\">De recordpoging stond in het teken van het goede doel. KiNG gaat geld inzamelen voor COLT, een Cambodjaans-Nederlandse organisatie die zich inzet voor kansarme kinderen en gezinnen in Phnom Penh, de hoofdstad van Cambodja.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #2a2b62;
