Sinds de opkomst van Magnus Carlsen zijn er in Noorwegen steeds meer toernooien te vinden. Fagernes ligt iets ten westen van het Lillehammer, waar in 1994 de olympische winterspelen werden gehouden.<\/span><\/p>\n

Het Fagernes toernooi is al een aantal dagen bezig en onze beide deelnemers in de hoofdgroep doen het goed. Jan Werle en Iozefina Paulet winnen beide ratingpunten. Jan Werle behaalde in ronde twee een mooie overwinning op Simen Agdestein(zie partij hieronder). Helaas verloor Jan in\u00a0 ronde vier van elo favoriet Jon Ludwig Hammer. Iozefina Paulet heeft na ronde zes een 50% score maar daaronder wel een remise tegen Timofey Galinsky die met een elo van 2411 toch ruim 200 punten meer heeft.<\/span><\/p>\n
